Several traffic accidents occurred in Buenos Aires following Christmas, according to sources from SAME (Emergency Medical System) to the Argentine News Agency.
The first incident was recorded after midnight at 5076 Nueva York, Villa Devoto, where two cars collided. The drivers were assisted but did not require hospitalization.
Meanwhile, a crash and rollover occurred at 5100 Navarro, between Cervantes and Rio Salado, Villa del Park. The two occupants, a 33-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, left the vehicle on their own, while personnel from the Scientific Police carried out the necessary investigations at the scene.
A 25-year-old motorcyclist suffered injuries after crashing into a car at the intersection of Madero and Tinogasta.
Additionally, a 21-year-old young man was taken to Ramos Mejía Hospital for multiple trauma after colliding with a vehicle on the corner of Monserrat and Lima, in the Monserrat neighborhood.
One of the notable incidents occurred at the intersection of Figueroa Alcorta Avenue and Sucre Street, where a car crashed into heavy machinery from a construction site. City firefighters controlled a natural gas leak and rescued the 40-year-old driver, who was transferred to Pirovano Hospital for significant injuries.
SAME personnel transferred the motorcyclist to Pirovano Hospital due to a serious skull fracture.
Rollover on General Paz
The traffic incident was recorded at the junction with the Panamerican Highway, between Zufriategui and Mariano Boedo (Buenos Aires province), where several people had to be rescued after being trapped inside a car.
Collision with a house nA Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck lost control, mounted the sidewalk, and crashed into a house on Directorio Avenue and Pergamino. The man driving the vehicle was taken to Piñero Hospital.
